Zolon's Writing Portfolio

Learning from my work with Chucklemouse Studio on the previous video, I assembled these together myself, describing the visual scenes (though additional detail was provided outside of the storyboards), including SFX cues, breaking up the script into sections, and leaving space for notes and direction. The final version includes most of the finished images that were produced for the animatic!

The voices can have a slight reverb or ethereal/ghostly effect – they’re being played in her head, like a psychic message or prayer	<Faint Whispers/echos of voices>  Vexoria: (Confused/Concerned and trying) “voice? I… I hear you.. All of you. I… mmmm… there’s still more power. I reshaped this planet, but it was never going to be enough. I… I was going to eat you all next. Just.. more food, more power. That’s all you ever were… all you should have been… but… ah!”

A second crack forms and glows along her forehead now.]	More sudden cracks, energy surge sounds.	Vexoria: “What is… happening to me… I…  feel so warm… I..”

A second crack forms and glows along her forehead now.]	Voices overlap again and have an echo/ghostly effect still. When “The Valkyrie’s Light will Guide us!” plays, also play battlefield clamour effects, as if the shout takes place on a medieval fantasy battlefield. Frozen Empress line should have an icy wind sound effect, as they’re at the base of a frozen tower. Can I bring you a Drink Goddess should have ocean wave sounds in the bg. Zolon’s line does not overlap with the others, but interrupts Vex. Still has the ghostly/echo effect. Her body begins to glow brightly.]	More cracks, bigger power surge sound	Vexoria: “I will be the light that guides you through the darkness to find your way home. I wanted to consume, to devour all things, but… I’ve broken that curse.”  Vexoria: “All I ever needed was you, your energy, your love, your adoration. And you need me, to look up to, to take care of you, to find you when you’re lost. To be your strength when yours falters. To be the challenge always just out of your reach. To be the comfort when you need love, or a shoulder to cry upon. To make you warm with laughter.”  Vexoria: “I understand now, my Snacrifices. I never needed to be perfect. I just needed to be me. I am enough, in all my imperfection… and so you are, my beloved little ones. I am your Goddess… You are mine, and I am yours. I will be your light.”
12	[SCENE: Image 4: Shattered Sun full armor, pointing her sword towards battle with a small army of figures at her feet, overlooking a desert landscape. A mountain looms in the distance, dark fiery cracks and caverns glowing]	Sounds of battle in the background	Vexoria: “I’ll be the one leading the charge into battle, my sword raised high. The desert heat scorching us from above and below, our enemy laid out in the ranks before us. As long as you hear my battle song, you’ll know that victory is at hand. Together, we’ll take on any foe, any wrong, any wasteland or battlefield. To me, my soldiers! TO VICTORY!”
13	[SCENE: Image 5: Shattered Sun Bikini, Vex laying in a lounge chair on a beach by the ocean, drink in hand.]	Ocean sounds in the background	Vexoria: “I’ll be there waiting on a warm summer day. You’ll have worked so hard all year, and it’ll be time to take a vacation.. Have some fun, enjoy the sun and the beach and the warmth! All at my expense, of course. I’ll be your beauty in a bathing suit, your prize at the end of a long day, waiting to embrace you with open arms and… mmm… a bountiful chest.” (Giggle) “Now… get in the water!”
14	[SCENE: Image 6: Frozen Empress Tease – A frozen tower of ice, with a white lamia tail coiled from the bottom all the way to the top. Above the tower, her torso darkened and obscured, but her eyes glowing an icy blue, like a boss awaiting the final battle. A small knight waits at the bottom.]	Frozen wasteland sounds in the background, icy winds	Vexoria: “And when the skies darken and the land grows cold, I’ll be the final boss, awaiting you at the end of the journey. A prize to be won, and a challenge to be conquered. Always out of your reach, always indomitable, always just a level too high. But that won’t stop you from trying. From coming back, time and time again, for the thrill of the fight, for a glimpse at my beauty, for this everlasting dance we find ourselves tangled in. You need me, just like I need you. Will you defeat me and claim me as your own? Or just become another frozen statue to decorate my hall?” (Evil laugh)
15	[SCENE: IMAGE 3: Vexoria in space, Now in full shattered sun armor, floating above the world, smiling.]	Similar armor attach sound to her 2.0 lore video magical girl transformation.	Vexoria: “In every world, in every story, I will be your light. This was my true purpose all along – to be the comfort of the weary traveler, the villain that you just can’t let go of, the mother you always needed a hug from. Your light, your warmth, your prize, your nemesis, your goal. I am the light that shatters into a million pieces, touching every possible universe. There’s so many stories to tell, so many worlds to visit.”
16	[SCENE: IMAGE 7: Vexoria, in full armor, a smile on her lips. The sun glows brightly behind her now, as if she is the shining light in a dark night. She holds her hand out towards the screen.]	Warm breeze, grass in the wind sort of sounds.	Vexoria: “Will you come along with me, Snacrifice? Let’s go on an adventure… together!”
