“I recall the time I first encountered the Prra’atii, and my, that was a lesson learned. See, I observed a female Devoted One, mostly nude aside from a loincloth and her own tufts of fur, of course, and carrying a long spear of some kind. She stood beside a dark-skinned, well dressed human, which I thought was clearly her master, given her uncivilized appearance. They approached the resting place of a giant who had been plaguing the jungles. I was sent to observe this very giant, to be true! I saw the pair of them speak, the man pointing at the giant, and the tigress nodding. She set off in a flash, on all fours, bounding for the creature. She loosed the spear, catching the giant through one of its eyes with impeccable precision! When it rose and attempted to strike her, she deftly dodged its blows, extending her claws and scratching away at the beast. She even climbed the great creature, with speed akin to the felines she was so alike, retrieved her spear, and plunged it into its other eye! Masterfully, she defeated the creature on her own, as the human watched. I moved close enough to hear her return, expecting her ‘master’ to reward her. Oh, how wrong I was! She returned to the man, and spoke in a very elegant tone:
‘And that, my dear apprentice, is how you slay a giant. Now, lets return to the guild. This bounty paid well.’”
